The Farmington Community Chorus was founded in 1980. Directed by Steve SeGraves (who also directs and sings tenor in PRime), the group is comprised of 85 singers from the metro Detroit area.  Ginny Lundquist, of PRime, is a founding member of the FCC and sings with the group.  Gwen Jacques of PRime is a former member of the FCC.  The Chorus gives several concerts each year.  Spring concert will be May 9 & 10 at the Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills (13 and Lahser). Visit their website for more information: www.farmingtonchorus.com .

The Vocal Arts Ensemble of Michigan is a select group of singers specializing in a cappella madrigals and folk songs from the Renaissance era (15th century) through the 21st century.  Directed by Charles Whitmore, they perform for festivals, feasts, weddings, and special occasions. During the holiday season, they performed at the Detroit Institute of Arts for Noel Night, for the Henry Ford Estate annual holiday dinner and for many other private events. They also perform sacred concerts at local churches as fund-raisers. For more information on the VAE, contact Business Manager Cindy Keleman at cindykeleman@earthlink.net .

In 1999, PRime was privileged to meet Dekoor, a 28-member close harmony choir from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands.  Dekoor hosted PRime during their performances at the North Sea Jazz Festival and World Choral Symposium.  In July 2000, PRime hosted Dekoor on its first American tour.  Visit their web site at www.studver.uu.nl/dekoor .
